Template license terms

Every Template Drawer product is sold with a license that determines what you can do with it. Most templates are personal-use by default. Some tiers (Lifetime, Studio Bundle) add commercial-use rights. Specifics below.

What "personal use" means
Use the template in your own work, your own client tracking, your own planning. Edit it freely. Share screenshots of how you're using it (we love to see). One human (you) is the operator.
What "single-practice commercial use" means (Lifetime, Founding Patron)
You can use the template in your professional practice where YOU are the practitioner, even if your clients see the output. Example: an ADHD coach uses the C2-08 client tracker with all 30 of their clients. That's fine. The template is still in YOUR Notion / your laptop / your account, and you're the only operator.
What you can't do: deliver the template itself to a client as their own template. ("Here Sarah, here's your copy of this template, you keep it forever.") That's redistribution, not commercial use.
What "agency / clinic commercial use" means (Studio Bundle)
You can deploy the template across an agency, clinic, or multi-practitioner organization. Multiple people inside your organization can use it. You can adapt it for client-facing work. You can include it in service deliverables you charge for.
What you still can't do: sell or distribute the raw template file as a standalone product. (You can include a heavily customized version as part of a paid service or training, that's fine.)
What you can never do (any tier)
- Redistribute the template as-is, free or paid
- Upload it to a template marketplace under your name
- White-label and rebrand it as your own product
- Include it in an open-source project (templates aren't open source)
- Train AI models on the template content as bulk input
- Strip Wren-signed markings to pretend it's not Template Drawer
Custom builds (Patron only)
If we build a custom template for you as part of your Founding Patron benefits, it's yours for the same use level as your Patron tier (single-practice commercial). If three or more patrons request the same custom, we may add it to the public catalog with credit to the original requesters.
Revocation
Your license terminates if you breach these terms. If we revoke a license, we refund the unused portion (prorated for Lifetime / Patron) and you delete all copies of the template within 30 days.
