Refund policy
Short version: most tiers get 30 days, no questions asked. Founding Patron and Studio Bundle get 14 days because lifetime access starts immediately and we're trying to keep the offer healthy. Full reasoning below.
At a glance
| Tier | Refund window | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Solo (€59) | 30 days | Single product, low value, easy decision |
| Pro (€99) | 30 days | Same |
| Lifetime (€179) | 30 days | Single product, you can decide quickly |
| Power Bundle (€299) | 30 days | 10 templates is a fair window to evaluate |
| Founding Patron (€499) | 14 days | Lifetime access to all Tier 1 templates starts at click, see below |
| Studio Bundle (€1,499) | 14 days | Same reason, plus onboarding call already delivers value |
How to request a refund
Email wren@templatedrawer.com with:
- Your order number (we email it at checkout)
- Optional: what didn't work (we read every reply, not required to refund, but helps us fix things)
That's it. We acknowledge inside 24 hours and issue the refund the same day on weekdays. The bank takes 1-5 days to surface it depending on your card.
The reasoning, because we'd want to know too
Why 30 days on most tiers
A 30-day window is friction removal. People buy templates uncertain whether the template will fit their workflow. Knowing they can refund makes them buy. Most don't refund, and the ones who do, we'd rather lose the sale than keep an unhappy customer.
Why 14 days on Patron and Studio
These tiers grant immediate lifetime access to all Tier 1 templates (€8,712+ worth at individual prices). A 30-day window in that context creates a clear edge case: download everything, refund on day 29, keep the files.
We could DRM-lock everything to prevent that. We don't. Instead, we run a 14-day window, long enough that anyone making a real decision has time, short enough that the "buy, download, refund" path doesn't pencil out as a strategy.
If you're inside the 14-day window and you've changed your mind, no problem, same as any other refund. Just email Wren.
What if I'm past 14 days and something genuinely went wrong?
Email Wren. Genuine reasons we'd still refund past 14 days:
- A template you bought has a broken file we can't repair within 7 days
- We failed to deliver the custom request inside 30 days of submission and didn't have a good reason
- The Discord stopped being active for 30+ days
What we won't refund
- Buyer's remorse on a custom build already delivered. If we built your custom request and you've received it, that work is done. We'll happily revise twice; we won't refund the build cost.
- Studio Bundle after the onboarding call. The call itself is a deliverable. After we've delivered it, we'll still refund the template portion if you're inside 14 days, but the call hours are gone.
- Fraudulent purchases. Chargebacks we contest if we have proof of delivery. Honest disputes we settle directly.
EU consumer rights
EU buyers have a 14-day cooldown right under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), however, this right doesn't apply to digital products that have already started downloading with your explicit consent.
To keep this clean, our cart shows the prompt: "By downloading immediately, you waive your 14-day EU cooldown right. Refunds still available per our policy."
Our refund policy is more generous than the EU statutory baseline for Solo / Pro / Lifetime / Power, and matches it for Patron / Studio. You're never worse off than the directive would have given you.
VAT on refunds
When we refund, we refund the full amount you paid, including VAT. We reclaim the VAT from our side; you don't deal with it.
Disputed charges and chargebacks
If you raise a chargeback before emailing us, we can't issue a refund through our system (the card network locks the transaction). Email first, refund within 24h. It's faster than a chargeback (which takes 30-90 days) and gentler on both of us.
